Joke is based in hindi. One of our team guys was explaining to another poor chap over phone. That poor chap was having issues in becoming root user in server. “Arey yaar, switch user..su karlo..i am telling you na…su ..su ..susukarlo”. The entire team overheard and stood up!

Another day wasted

Nothing noteworthy today. Tried the new briyani counter at office. Helped Ashok with his teammates MS reco. letters. And GoF decided that I give treat for them tomorrow.

Brand bug!

Recently on my weekend shopping I purchased a Gillette Mach 3 razor set. When I came back home and reviewed the bill again it bombed back. 2 blades costed Rs180. $4 for some but when you get your month’s grocery for 4 people under $20 then you would have to think about it.

I am bitten by brand mania. Whatever happened to 10 rupees 7oclock razor when i started shaving. This is malaise that everyone admits it, knows it but cant do anything about it. Seen IBM’s premium pricing cashew ad?.

This topic came up in our GoF meeting. You lose the brand you lose your status value. So in the end its not about money, its about status that money can alone buy.

Let me see how I am going to move away from brands.

Yet another blog. I am a blog mixer throughout - using blogger,360,typepad all such sorts. Also i mix and match all the topics. Its time I started to do the cleaning act. I am going to keep things aside across different service providers.
